MindMapping now with brilliant highlighter analysis

Now every user can easily work through a difficult text, memorize facts, or understand structures and relationships: In the new version 2007d of InfoRapid KnowledgeMap, users highlight important passages in a document with markers in different colors. The program instantly builds a clear MindMap from those highlights in real time.

InfoRapid KnowledgeMap 2007d introduces a probably world-unique function – automatic MindMap generation using a highlighter. The user loads a text into the program and begins marking important keywords or passages while reading for the first time. The marked passages are automatically added to the MindMap. The colors of the highlighter help group individual texts and find them at a glance in the body text.

The highlight: If the user changes colors or entries in the MindMap, the markings in the text adjust automatically. If a bullet point is deleted from the diagram, its highlighting disappears from the document too.

Ingo Straub: "The new method helps in a particularly simple and convincing way to get to grips with a new topic, prepare a presentation, study for an exam, or read up on the necessary expertise for a task. You have to try it yourself to understand the simplicity of the system."

When knowledge deserves a manager!

At home, in the office, or on the company intranet, structuring and organizing your own knowledge is always important. InfoRapid KnowledgeMap 2006d, a two-component knowledge management system, helps with this. The graphics component draws visually impressive knowledge maps on the screen. An intelligent KnowledgeMap Server then integrates them into your own knowledge network.

In addition to knowledge maps, the graphics program handles org charts, decision trees and project breakdown structures. Finished graphics can be published on the internet or intranet, inserted into Word, Excel or PowerPoint files, or printed at any size.

The KnowledgeMap Server is a web server enhanced with knowledge-management functions. It can read, analyze, and compile HTML, RTF, Word, and PDF documents into a knowledge network.
